Join 3 hemp retail operators from 3 different regions of NY as they pull back the cannabis curtain and reveal what happens at the intersection of the plant and the public.

While waiting for NY Adult Use Dispensary Licenses to become available, we look to those with a track record of operating in the current NY Hemp Cannabinoid Retail space for best practices and strategies to establish a foothold in the local economy, differentiate and build a retail brand, drive traffic and sales, and manage consumer expectation, confusion and misinformation around legalization.  This panel will address what it’s like to run a brick-and-mortar cannabis retail business with strict guardrails, compliance demands, and financial limitations, while educating the public and advocating for additional access to more parts of the plant. In a fledgling industry, there aren’t decades of data or years of protocol to rely on, so questions exist around customer conversion from prospect to loyal shopper.  What can a retailer say to a prospective client when there are less than 2 minutes to educate and empower them to make the sale? What ways can cannabis brands improve the chances that a retailer will choose to bring their brand forward when recommending products to clients? Join us for real talk about how the current NY hemp retail market holds the clues for the future of Adult Use cannabis retail.
